The Connection-2

Its hot outside, but its not daytime. The walls are exuding the absorbed heat of the day. I am sitting inside in front of the PC,enjoying the cool of the newly fitted AC. I hear the crickets chirping at the other side of the wall and it reminds me of the time someone told me that the chirping meant a sunny day tomorrow. I have a bad feeling today and i shall tell you the story of 'The connection part 2'.
I reach home from a short trip early in the morning. I pick up the newspaper and look through the pages. I stop at the page of public utility services and when I see the timetable for buses from one station to another I particularly give a momentary stare at the bus from Itanagar to Seppa. I think to myself,"the route is so winding and its good I haven't heard of any accidents yet, except for one time when a mad elephant rammed and toppled a bus".
As usual, the next morning I pick up the newspaper. The front page has the news of bus accident plying from Seppa to Itanagar.... And i feel guilty...
