[This is, you can say, a poem. A romantic type poem. I know its so unlike me, though I don't deny its not in my character to be musing longingly once in a while:).]
There's a song in my heart,
I can hear it through my mind,
Someday I wish to sing it to you,
But 'someday', when will it come?
Sometimes I long to see a glimpse of you,
Through the window of a chance.
But where is the chance, when you know
With you there is no luck?
And just as days and months go by,
I still keep my hope alive.
That someday would really come,
When I'll sing you the song I've spun.
And then, comes the gale of uncertainty
Blowing away the last flames of my hope.
But in you I search for my faith so sure,
The faith that rekindles the ember along.
Rising like a phoenix, somehow I start believing again,
That we are meant to be.
Listening to the joyous song of my heart to you,
I know it'll be a soothing lullaby.
And together we will cruise in our dreams,
Battling all the storms.
